It’s inevitable that, when washing food, some small particles will end up in the sink. The problem is when food particles accumulate.
This will clog up drains, which can be smelly to deal with, never mind the cost of calling out a plumber to clear.
I was getting to the stage where a blocked kitchen sink was becoming something I had to deal with 3 to 4 times a year.
Never mind the costs involved, it was also a real inconvenience not having a working sink when cooking in the kitchen.
