The Best Leftover Christmas Recipes Online
Christmas dinner is, quite possibly, my most favorite meal of the year!
However, because I never know exact numbers that are coming to visit on the day, mainly because I have friends and neighbors who have a habit of just showing up at my doorstep, I always end up cooking far too much.
As much as I love Christmas dinner, I don’t want to be eating it for the next week, nor do I want to keep serving the same thing to others.
So, this year, I’ve scoured the internet for you, and found 5 brilliant ‘leftover’ Christmas recipes.
Not just for using up any turkey, beef or ham, these recipes will also help you use up all the side dishes, such as carrots, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce etc in new and fresh ways!

Turkey Shepherd’s Pie
I love homely Shepherd’s Pie at any time of year. It may normally be made with mutton or lamb, but turkey works really well, or even ham.
What’s great is that it also uses up any mashed potato and leftover veggies from the Christmas spread.
Simply delicious!

Pan-fried Turkey, Brie and Cranberry Sandwich
This is such a treat that you’ll forget that it’s a leftover recipe. Gorgeous melt-in-the-mouth brie teams up with leftover cranberry sauce and turkey.
If any of your loved ones have previously groaned about too many turkey sandwiches after Christmas, serve them this and change their mind!

Leftover Christmas Cookie & Eggnog Pie
If you’re sick of cookies and eggnog, this is a brilliant way of using them up. Trust me, even people who generally don’t like eggnog love this pie!
Monte Cristo Sandwich
Another sandwich that will change the minds of all those ‘I hate leftover Christmas sandwiches’ naysayers!
This is the gourmet version of a standard ham and cheese sandwich. A variation of the Croque-monsieur, this is dipped in egg and cooked like French toast.
So good, you may insist on a Christmas Ham just so you can make these sandwiches for days afterwards!
