Salad with Tofu and Fresh Vegetables

It doesn’t get any healthier than a dish with the name, salad with tofu and fresh vegetables. And I’m guessing that those looking for a healthier recipe option now have your mouth waters with anticipation.
Take note though that this recipe is more of how to prepare your tofu as a topping for your salad rather than an entire dish in itself. The idea is for you to just use any vegetables you want. In fact, you can just throw in any fresh greens into a bowl and top it with some deliciously marinated tofu.
So I won’t torture you any longer with my blabbering and get you started on making your salad with tofu and fresh vegetables.
Your Ingredients

½ block of firm or extra-firm tofu, cut into bite size pieces
1 tbsp of light soy sauce
2 cloves of minced garlic
2 tsp of sriracha
1 tsp of sesame oil
How to Make your Salad with Tofu and Fresh Vegetables
Get a shallow dish and mix all the marinade ingredients together.
Add your tofu to the marinade mix, throw it inside the fridge and allow to marinate for at least an hour. The longer you marinate the tofu, the better the taste.
After you have marinated the tofu, go get a skillet and heat no more than 2 tsp of oil over medium heat.
Now go and prepare your salad. It can be whatever greens you want, and then top it with your marinated tofu.

I have never really been a fan of tofu, always seemed to turn me off. But this recipe looks like it is worth a shot. I should give it a try, trying to live healthy and lose some wait. Thanks for the suggestion.

Wow! Nice way to prepare salad with tofu and other fresh vegetables. but cutting size should be smaller that in picture showing. And what about salt? not found anywhere about salt.

Nice and healthy salad! Very easy to make.
Can you use different cheese than tofu? For example hollumi, goats or feta cheese? With hollumi you’d need to fry it and others two are quite salty. :/

I have always loved the kick of raw garlic and chilli with fresh tofu. I added a little bit of raw thinly sliced Kaffir lime leaf and basil to my salad and some nuts and it was delicious. I also added some sesame seeds. Great recipe that you can chop and change for seasonal vegetables/whatever you feel like at the time.

I have decided to eat healthy. Was wondering ways to prepare salad. This is one of the ways i would try to make one for me and my family. sriracha is my favorite and having Tofu would be amazing. Needless to say easy to make.
