Now unless you’re a vegetarian, then there is little to no reason for you not to love a tender, juicy, grass fed, prime rib roast cooked to perfection. Typing that in even made my mouth water.
Now I know you’re here not to read what I think, but learn how to cook. So let’s go do it!

Your Ingredients:
One 15-pound boneless prime rib roast
1 cup of olive oil
1/4 cup of fresh rosemary leaves
1/4 cup of packed fresh sage leaves
1/4 cup of fresh thyme leaves
2 tbsp of salt
2 tbsp of black pepper
5 cloves pressed garlic
How To Cook Your Prime Rib Roast To Perfection
Preheat your oven to 500° F.
For your prime rib, put it on a roasting pan and set it aside for now. Throw the garlic, thyme, sage, rosemary into a food processor. Add in a pinch of salt and a dash of pepper to taste and pulse the processor until the herbs and spices are combined. If there are any chunks left, don’t worry about it. This will serve as your rub.
Once done, get your herb and spices and rub them all throughout your prime rib.
Put your prime rib in the oven and cook for 20 minutes at 500° F.
After 20 minutes, lower the temperature to 325° F.
Roast the rib until the internal temperature reaches 130° F for 2 hours. This is the temperature if you want your prime rib at medium rare.
Once done, let it rest first for 15 minutes before serving.

I have never had prime rib before. This recipe looks easy to try and the pictures look delicious, and inviting. This is definitely on my list of recipes to try out on my family.

This looks like a perfect Christmas day recipe!! Need to get myself organised though, I’m not used to long cooking times – your recipe makes it all look super easy though.
I love using fresh herbs in cooking!
