How To Make Frosting
Don’t let the turkey do all the talking. Thanksgiving is a time for indulgence, and many of us will be indulging our sweet tooth.
Whether you fancy yourself as a bit of baker, or you prefer to cheat by buying from the bakery, any muffin or cake can look ‘homemade’ with a little homemade frosting on top.
Watch our professional chef make the perfect frosting……..
Preparation time: 15 mins
Cooking time: 0
Total time: 15 mins
Ingredients:
- 3 cups of icing sugar
- 1/3 cup of soft butter
- 2 tablespoons of milk
Directions:
1. Measure out your icing sugar and butter using Chef Remi Measuring Cups. Our cups are very lightweight and portable, unlike heavy Pyrex or glass cups, so anyone can use them without accidents.
2. Place the icing sugar, soft butter and milk into a mixing bowl and mix thoroughly using a soft, flexible spatula.
We recommend using the Chef Remi 3 Piece Spatula Set as the thin, flexible food grade silicone can scrape and mix icing and dough thoroughly without leaving lumps.
3. Use a mini spatula to spread frosting onto cakes or muffins, and add sprinkles, chocolate curls etc.
The Chef Remi 3 Piece Spatula Set includes a spoonula (half spoon half spatula) for folding dough, a square spatula for scraping mixing bowls, and a mini spatula for frosting cakes, or spreading jams or butter – the ultimate baking set!
Happy Thanksgiving!
