Total time: 1 hour 30 minutes

Looking for an easy, but tasty, recipe for your next camping trip? Then there is nothing simpler, and tastier, than a well seasoned, hot off the fire, spicy chicken leg.
For as long as I can remember, this has been my go to recipe when ever me and my mates go camping. It’s easy to make, much easier to cook, and you can take it anywhere without bringing along several pots and pans.
So fire up the grill! Were cooking chicken legs tonight!
Ingredients
12 slices of chicken legs1/2 cup of olive oil
1 tbsp of salt (if possible, use sea salt)
1/2 tbsp of freshly grounded black pepper
1/2 tbsp of paprika
1/2 tbsp of cumin
1/4 tbsp of cayenne pepper
3 tbsp worth of finely chopped onion
1/2 cup of fresh parsley, chopped
1 and a half cup of beer (not for you, but for the chicken)
How to Make Your Spicy Grilled Chicken Leg

The first thing you need to do is to take all the chicken legs and place them in a big zip lock bag. (If you don’t have a zip lock bag, any air tight container would do)
Get a 2 cup of measuring cup and pour a splash of olive oil into it.
Start mixing your cayenne pepper, cumin paprika, pepper and salt together, and add to the olive oil after. (When making this dish, take into consideration that some people are more tolerant to spicy food than others. Add or lessen the use of spices accordingly)
Add in next your parsley, chopped onions and garlic into your spice mixture, and then slowly add your beer into the mixture. If you see the mixture bubbling up or foaming a bit, don’t worry. You’re doing it right.
This mixture will serve as your marinade.
Next thing to do is to pour your marinade into the air tight container with the chicken legs. Shake the container as much as you can to make sure that each chicken leg is thoroughly coated with the marinade.
Once finished, put the chicken legs in a pan, along with its marinade, and put it inside the fridge. Depending on when you want to cook the chicken, you can let it stay there for at least an hour, or overnight. The longer it marinates, the fuller the taste.
As for cooking the chicken legs, you need to coat your grill with olive oil, preheat it to about 350°F. Place the chicken legs on.
Once cooked, let the chicken legs rest for at least 3 minutes before serving them.
