Grilled Clams With Spicy Butter
With Independence Day just over a week away, we’ve decided to show you some very special recipes this week that are sure to impress come 4th of July!
First up is our succulent grilled clams with spicy butter. The great thing about tossing hot clams on a hot BBQ grill is that the clam liquor can fuse with the melted butter on a high heat, which creates unbeatable flavor.

How To Make Your Grilled Clams With Spicy Butter:
-
You need butter that is at room temperature and soft, so take it out of the fridge about half an hour before you start. If you have forgotten to take it out of the fridge and it is too hard, take a small bowl and use a Y-peeler to create thin soft slices – instant soft butter!
- In a small bowl, mix together the butter, cayenne, celery seeds, paprika, salt and black pepper until combined thoroughly.
-
Place your clams onto BBQ grill mats and place onto a hot grill.
-
Grill for 8-10 minutes until the clams pop open.
-
Move all your clams into a big bowl and add your spiced butter. Toss thoroughly to coat all the clams with your butter.
-
Plate up your clams and serve with celery leaves – delicious!
Our Chef Remi Grill Mats can make grilling, whether indoors or out, so much easier. As foods will no longer touch the grates, there’s no more scrubbing food residue off, or losing precious marinade through grates,
