The name Ceviche is usually synonymous with summer. But with me spending a few years down in South East Asia, ceviche has become a staple dish at home.
So any time I get my hands on some fresh shrimps or fish, it usually ends up becoming a dish that reminds me of the fun times I had under the tropical sun.
If you want to learn how to make this delicious dish, then read on my friend.
Your Ingredients
Half a pound deveined and peeled shrimps
Half a pound of sea bass meat chopped into bite size pieces
2 tbsp of salt
3/4 cup of lime juice
3/4 cup of lemon juice
1 cup finely chopped red onion
1 minced serrano chilli with seeds and ribs removed
1 cup of chopped cilantro
1 cucumber, diced and peeled into 1/2-inch pieces
1 avocado cut into 1/2-inch chunks
How to make your Fish and Shrimp Ceviche (Spicy Seafood)
Cut your shrimps and fish into bite size pieces.
Put your shrimps and fish into a glass bowl and add in your lemon and lime juice.
Throw it inside the fridge for half an hour.
Now add in your Serrano chilli and red onions and thrown it back into the ref for another half an hour.

I like the addition of lime and lemon juice and not just one citrus. I have had ceviches before that are predominantly taste of one citrus and find it lacks depth. This will be a great addition to my recipe catalogue

Being Hispanic, anything that is spicy and has seafood is my go-to! This ceviche has a different, yet still delicious twist to it. Will definitely have to try this. Any excuse to eat seafood ceviche again!
