Christmas BBQ - An Alternative Christmas Dinner
While many of us have the idea of Christmas as cold and snowy, many Americans live in places where Christmas is likely to be hot and sunny.
If you live in South Florida, Hawaii, South Texas or Southern California, you’re likely to have a warm Christmas.
So it makes sense to have Christmas barbecue dinner!
At Chef Remi, we’ve decided to create the perfect ‘alternative’ Christmas pack for anyone who is looking forward to a sunny Christmas!
Everyone loves a BBQ, but no one likes cleaning up!
And one of the biggest chores is scrubbing grill grates clean of dried on foods, or fishing out bits of food that have fell between the grates.
Use a top quality grill mat, and you’ll find your Christmas foods never touch the grates, and you never lose precious marinade.
Yet, the mats are thin enough for the heat to penetrate through, so you'll still get those gorgeous grills marks on burgers, steaks etc.
What’s even better is, you can now cook foods that you never would have thought possible on a barbecue!
Why not add some fried eggs to your burgers, or cook an omelet, pizza or even pancakes?
Our grill mats can be thrown into a dishwasher, so you don't even need to scrub them clean.
Once you start using them, you'll wonder how you ever grilled without them!
This hardworking set of 3 tools can handle all your Christmas foods on the BBQ with ease, so your Christmas cooking is easier.
The tongs have ‘teeth’, which are invaluable for gripping and turning cylindrical items, such as sausages, which have a habit of rolling around (why many people end up with sausages where one side is charred whilst the other side is slightly undercooked!)
The angled 2-prong fork will allow you to skewer large vegetables, or pick up stacked foods, such as a pile of burgers, with ease.
The spatula is great for turning flat or fragile items, such as burgers or fish fillets. It’s thin enough for you to slip under foods so you can easily flip them over.
It also has a serrated knife on one side (for cutting meat and other items), a meat tenderizer on the other side, and a built-in bottle opener.
Cook a delicious Christmas barbecue while enjoying a bottle of beer!
All 3 tools have long handles so your hands are as far away from the heat source as possible.
Turn, tenderize, lift, grip, serve, even pop open a beer bottle…….whatever it is you need to do on your grill this Christmas, our barbecue tool set will never let your down!
Using Chef Remi Grill Mats will eliminate the need for cleaning grill grates.
But, what if you want to create a Christmas dish seared with flames? You’ll have to put your food directly onto the grill grates, and get the dirty.
Worry not! Our grill brush has stainless steel bristles, which are strong enough to remove burnt on foods, yet soft enough so they don’t scratch the grates.
It can also withstand up to 330°F, so you won’t have to wait till the grill completely cools down (and residue dries on) before cleaning, unlike traditional brushes.
In fact, we recommend you dip the brush in water to harness the power of steam which can remove even heavily built-up gunk.
Cleaning grates will become a cinch, so you never have to worry about spending hours scrubbing away while everyone else is enjoying the Christmas party!
With our meat claws, you can shred the largest roasts and pork butts in under 2 minutes!
If you’re planning on some pulled pork or shredded beef this Christmas, you can wave goodbye to tedious shredding and painful fingers using 2 dinner forks.
Our meat claws have tapered claw ‘teeth’ that will cut meat into fine shreds – no need to go over meat again and again, unlike metal or stainless steel teeth which leave large meat chunks.
They’re also heat resistant up to 450℉, so you can shred even piping hot meat, without needing to wait until it cools down - these claws will never melt or burn.
These multitasking claws are not just for shredding meat. Use them to lift whole roasts and large joints of meat without any splattering or danger of dropping. Use to steady roasts or large foods, such as a watermelon, by digging in one claw so you can carve perfectly thin slices.
Use to quickly shred salad greens, such as lettuce, cabbage and spinach, without needing to get out a knife and cutting board, or use to toss a large bowl of salad and make sure the dressing has been spread through evenly.
Trust us, you’ll never have a barbecue again without insisting on having a pair of these claws around!
Chef Remi Non-stick Burger Press
This fantastic tool will allow you to make perfectly even burgers, every time.
Shop bought burgers have a lot of fillers and gunk that ‘glue’ the burger together. As homemade burgers are made from quality ground meat with no filler in them, they can easily fall apart on the grill.
The other issue is that many people make the mistake of overworking ground meat to try and prevent patties from falling apart. This removes most of the juices, which yields dry, dense and tasteless burgers.
Our burger press will compress burger mixture just enough so it will hold its shape and withstand falling apart on the grill.
At the same time, it eliminates the need to work meat by hand, which keeps the juices intact, which yields succulent, tender burgers.
The nonstick coating stops raw mince from sticking, so you turn out perfectly shaped patties every time, and the built-in interior ridges give each patty a ribbed surface so you get that gorgeous ‘professionally seared’ look!
Chef Remi BBQ / meat thermometer
This is probably THE most important utensil at you Christmas BBQ!
Unless you have x-ray vision, it's impossible to tell if food items on a barbecue are safe to eat.
More people get food poisoning from outdoor barbecues than any other type of food event. Don't let your (under) cooking send your loved ones to ER this Christmas!
Our instant read thermometer will give you the correct temperature straight away, and can handle a temperature range of -58°F to 572ºF (-50ºC to 300°C).
It has a long probe, so you can get right into the middle of roasts, joints etc to see if it is cooked through.
It has a ‘freeze' temperature button, which allows you to 'freeze' the temperature while the probe is in the food. This is because, as soon as you remove the probe, the temperature it registers will drop as it reacts with the cool air.
Without this freeze function, you may assume your roast is cooler than it actually is, and you end up cooking for far too long and ruining your Christmas dinner!
It comes in an innovative, splash-proof design, which means it can withstand the tough outdoor environment.
With it’s bright, backlit LCD display, even if you’re cooking Christmas dinner at dusk, you can still see if you’ve cooked your foods to the correct temperature.
We include a handy booklet which details the correct temperatures for all foods, so you can be sure your food is delicious and safe this Christmas!
With this fantastic Christmas BBQ Tool Pack, you can look forward to cooking a tasty, hassle-free and safe Christmas dinner that is sure to wow your family and loved ones – Merry Christmas!
