Salmon is one of my favourite fish to cook. Not only because of its taste and texture, but because it’s very versatile in terms of how it can be cooked.
So long as you know what you’re doing and have the right ingredients, you can either fry, rill or bake the fish.
And speaking of baking, my favourite is Baked Salmon Fillet With Rosemary, Lemon and Honey.
Your Ingredients:
1⁄4 cup of fresh rosemary leaves1 cup of honey
Zest and juice of 1 lemon
4 (6-oz.) boneless and skinless salmon filets
Salt and fresh ground pepper
3 tbsp of olive oil
How to cook your Baked Salmon Fillet With Rosemary, Lemon and Honey?
Pour the honey into a pot and cook it over medium heat for 3 minutes till it becomes thin and slightly hot. Add in your lemon zest and rosemary and stir the mixture.
Once done, remove the mixture from heat and set it aside for 20 minutes for it to infuse.
You then take the mixture and run it through a fine sleeve, making sure to remove any solid pieces from the mixture. Set it aside to cool.
Now for your salmon, place them flat down on in a dish.
Season them with salt and pepper and use around 2tbsp of the honey mixture you made.
You then cover the dish with a plastic wrap and leave it inside the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
Pre-heat your grill on medium and brush the grates with some olive oil.
You then cook your salmon on the grill until they become dark brown. This will take around 3 minutes.
Before serving, drizzle your salmon with lemon juice.

This seems like a very simple recipe, yet so elegant. Is seasoning it with salt and pepper before cooking be okay. I usually season my fish before cooking.

Thank you very much for this recipe!
It’s so delicious, I cooked last night, all the “departed” instantly.
It is appetizing, and most importantly it is a healthy and easy meal. With a glass of light wine enjoyment. The perfect dish for the winter evenings by the fireplace. We enjoyed.

it is very interesting to try. I have never heard about salmon with honey in the same place. I think would be very impressive for my guests who wants to try something new.
