    1) Shred large pork butts, whole roasts, turkeys etc in minutes Your meat claws can shred any meat. Have a load of leftover turkey after Thanksgiving, but can’t face a reheated Thanksgiving dinner? Shred the leftover turkey to make turkey sandwiches, or to use in a pie.

    Have some leftover beef brisket? Shred it and have a tacos night! Use the meat claw in your non-dominant hand to hold the mass of meat secure. Then use the claw in your dominant hand to shred away.....

    Our meat claws are molded at the front and the back, and have no hollowed pockets, which means no shreds of meat can get stuck inside. They also have heat resistant tapered teeth, which means the meat is finely shredded. Claws with non-tapered stainless steel teeth can leave you with large chunks of meats as opposed to truly shredded meat.

    2) Lift whole roasts or big joints of meat with ease Need to turn a large piece of meat halfway during cooking? If you’ve ever done this with tongs or dinner forks, you’ll know how difficult this is without splattering meat juices, sauces, marinade or oil everywhere!

    3) Steady a roast for perfectly thin slices of carved meat Naturally you need a really sharp knife to carve perfectly thin layers of meat, but even the sharpest of knives won’t help when you can’t keep the roast steady. Just use one meat claw with your non dominant hand to dig into the roast and hold it steady, then use a sharp knife to slice away.

    4) Toss large bowls of salad evenly with dressing If you’ve ever made a large bowl of salad, you’ll have realized how difficult it is to get the salad evenly coated with dressing. When tossing large bowls of salad with kitchen tongs or forks, inevitably some bites end up with no dressing at all, whilst other bites were completely overpowered by vinegary dressing. Instead, add your dressing and use your meat claws to dig in from the side of the bowl to the bottom, and then pull the claws up, allowing the salad to drop back into the bowl.

    Q: How are these claws better than ones with metal teeth?

    A: Many people think using claws with stainless steel teeth (or other metals) means the teeth would be less likely to melt. While this might make sense, the problem with metal teeth is that they cannot be tapered.

    Non-tapered teeth have large gaps between them, which means you end upwith chunks of meat, as opposed to truly shredded meat. We’ve created our meat claws using food grade, BPA-free plastic, with perfectly tapered teeth, but they are also heat resistant to 450°F. In other words, you get the best of both worlds; meat that’s shredded into fine bits as well as tools that won’t melt.

    This is my second of this particular brush. I like the first one very much and it lasted through many cleanings. It was also very strong. I have broken some lesser made brushes. My only complaint is that the first one had a hook on it that I could hang in a specific spot on the grill. I ordered this one specifically because I though it would have the hook on the end like it predecessor. Alas, it didn't. We drilled the end and installed a hook ourselves. I would have given it 5 stars had it come with the hook attached. I would suggest not removing the hook for future orders. (It still shows in the picture on the website)
